No Social Security Number required – WTF

The stock markets are in crisis, there is talk about the ‘R’ word. (recession), 7,000,000 of our fellow Americans are either in or facing foreclosure and who do we have to thank for this?

Well, outside of fmr. Fed leader, big Al Greenpants, it was the financial industry and their shameless promotion of, franking speaking, bullshit mortgages, or what is know in the lending industry as NIJA loans (no income job or assets) & people who have blogs and don’t monitor or care what the advertising content is.

 

Today when I was checking the early news and got to the Huff post, it suddenly dawned on me (it had to flash to get my attention) that here was Lending Tree_the number 1 offender_ offering to to refinance your home with what appeared to be a good rate. Looking closer I saw what turned my stomach “No SSN Required“.

I interpret this statement of No SSN required as meaning ‘Hola amigo, are you an illegal immigrant? Got no SSN? No Legal residency? NO PROBLEM.

Out west, banks have no problem with these types of loans, Citibank of Fresno had a whole dept for these types of loans. Banks want to get bigger and illegals are a gigantic source of revenue to these operations. 250,000 mortgages roughly equals $60 billion in potential mortgages. Think this would get Lending Tree’s attention? I say it did.

So, I am asking you to contact the editors at the Huffington Post and ask them to #1-take down the Lending Tree ads and #2-refrain from running ads like these in the future.

What was the purpose of the surge?

I’m watching Geo. Bush on local TV. He is professing his love of the Vet’s and how he has increased the budget to the VA (of course we know that increasing the budget does not necessarily mean they will fund the proposed budget). How our warriors need to know they will be taken care of by a grateful country. (lucky for us Vets the country is grateful, otherwise they would use the same needle more than 2 times), how everything is just peachy in Iraq. Electricity is being produced_no mention of how much. People have jobs_producing car bombs. We can not leave this struggling democracy now. How the world community is with us in this “noble” cause. How Al-quada is one side, Iran is the other side and Saudi is wanting to open an Embassy. The importance of Oil and how we can not let either Iran or Al Quada determine who gets the oil. He’s making references to WWII and the flag at Iwo Jima. The applause lines are not getting the decibels I would have suspected, apparently even these strong Bush supporters are having some second thoughts.

As I remember it, the reasoning behind the surge was – ‘we will provide the muscle and the Iraqi government_if you want to call it a government_was to do specific organizational things, nothing really hard, just get your shit together kind of stuff.

We all know the Iraqi government took the summer off, think they were giving us a ‘heads up’ as to their intentions?

Numb Nuts is here

Well I just watched Air Force 1 execute a absolutely perfect landing. Complete energy management thru the entire landing. Pretty impressive~and we all know~I’m not easily impressed by a landing.

What a bunch of shit everybody in this town has to go through now, traffic is screwed, no way I’m getting into the Casino where he is staying (wonder if he is a gambler-doh). Black helicopters flying around. Bunches of Black Suburbans & a few white jeeps. Who squirms out of the back door of Air Force 1? Fucking Karl, I was born and raised in Sparks, NV, Rove. It made me want to puke watching Numb nuts, Karl Rove, Gov (soon to be indicted) Gibons, my puke Repug congressman who only wants a campaign contribution and will not say he supports full funding of the VA, and a bunch of other people who got stiffies around numb nuts

So, numb nuts is going to spend the night in town (we will have to fumigate when he leaves) and then tomorrow give a major Iraq policy speech in front of the American Legion who is meeting here. Afterwards, he will board Air Force 1 and leave this place and never return. I hope he has a rough flight outbound. Nothing like some good turbulence right after that heavy muther lifts off to make you think.

At the end of the day, tomorrow, the world won’t be one iota safer, probably less safe and the war monger will have spewed his bile in my pristine town.
