Frankenforests or Remo’s Law of Dog Shit
I have a theory – one of a million – which basically goes. When major corporations spend the advertising dollars required to get to the ‘hearts & minds’ of Joe Six Pack to impart the message of ‘geeze aren’t we great?’ ‘our only byproduct is water’ ‘resourceful by nature’ it is time to start looking around for some dog shit. Or as an FAA flight designee (the person from the government who makes the ultimate decision if you get a pilots license) once told me. “When I find an area of deficiency, it’s like dog shit, there is more around”. For sake of conversation let’s call this ‘Remo’s Law of Dog Shit’
Now, I love watching Sunday morning fourth estate shows. Lately, the advertising genre has changed from the usual fare of Xerox, Avis Rental, Marriott, etc. Ochems Razor alerted me to the possible application of Remo’s Law of Dog Shit.

“But the problems transgenic trees pose are just as severe. Whether it’s endangering wild species or pollen drift, the fact is we’re in danger of setting off a chain of events that’s irreversible. We don’t know what we’re messing with,” he says.
“The industry has tried very hard to keep it quiet, or tout the technology as benign and beneficial to the environment,”

I think it is high - rastafari - Time to apply Remo’s Law of Dog Shit.
So, you didn’t like what you read in the article eh? Tired of saying “I’m just one person, what can I do?”. Well, you can do this – contact your representative and let them know your feelings. I did, and you can also – right here.
The proof is in the pudding.
